  This church is a friendly, non-threatening church where you hear the Word of God. Very full in the winter but not so much in the summer. Secure nursery building and beautiful kids building. Something for all age groups. Pastors and staff are always ready to help you.

  Starkey is a great church. I am in the amazing youth group, and would strongly encourage you to come be apart of our church family. Coming to youth group on Wednesday nights, Sunday morning and then church service, and Spanish church on Friday nights, are some of the best things that go on all week! :)

  I have been to many churches in several states, just trying to find one to call home. From my very first visit to SRBC I knew it was the one. Parishioners immediately introduced themselves to me and my husband, and exchanged numbers with us. In such a big church with an incredibly large congregation, it's impressive to see how many people notice newcomers and welcome them. Not a week has gone by that SRBC hasn't shown how beautiful it and its members are. I've always found in the past that most churches that claim to be accepting of everyone are actually the least accepting. It always seems to be an immediate judgement of who is the "most" Christian. There was never a single instance that I found anyone to judge my Christianity or thought me to be anything less than another follower of the Lord. The sweetest people that I never thought would say hello to me immediately came over, hugged me, wanted to know who I was and what was going on in my life, and then would follow up whenever they saw me. Whichever service I was going to there was always someone coming up and inviting me to sit. All of this genuinely made me feel welcome and at home, and calmed my severe anxiety immensely. I wish I would truly put into words the love that radiates from SRBC and its congregation. I 100% recommend this church to anyone and everyone.
